SHIRLEY VALENTINE

This is a story of a Liverpool housewife who spends her days talking to the wall-literally! When her best friend asks her to go to Greece with her for 2 weeks, she jumps at the chance. In Greece she rediscovers the woman she used to be and the happiness that she has been missing. An affair with a local helps Shirley realize that there is more to life amd that change is always possible. Shirley shares her thoughts and doublts with us, the audience, in this one-woman tour-de-force.
